I spent this afternoon at the Fototeca Storica Ando Gilardi in Bovisa, Milano, lunching with Patrizia and Elena Piccini and Fabrizio Urettini. Francesco fiddled away.
The ladies graciously sourced silver nitrate and potassium bichromate for my experiments (!)
They also gifted me many exotic films and papers and the contraption above, called the ‘Tri-Camera’, built by Ando Gilardi in the 1980s.
